Aloha! My name is Tracy, and I live in Kihei. My dream of owning a Corvette finally came true on my 38th birthday. This photo was taken on that sunny day in March at the Grand Wailea Resort. Rusty is the Head Golf Professional at Wailea Gold & Emerald Golf Courses, and Mary has her own business in Home Management.
Dan Wittern (1964 Corvette) 808-344-2913 Dan has a 64 Corvette with numbers matching. It has been surface modified for Maui cruising. This club "geezer" has been on Maui for about 4 years, enjoying his retirement. He also owns a 55 Chevy Nomad, and his daily driver is a 05 Shelby Mustang Cobra. John and Vickie Newell (1957 Corvette, 2005 Corvette) 808-873-7013 johnnewell57@msn.com John and Vickie came to Maui to escape the cold winters of Colorado in 2007. John searched a long time before he found this '57. It was stored in Ohio for 15 years before being brought back to life by the previous owner. John was lucky to find the car "on the other side of the continental divide" seven years ago, and purchased it on Valentine's Day 2003. Vickie uses the 2005 C6 as her daily driver. Dean Rostock 808-870-7154 cahuna76@yahoo.com Dean moved to Maui 10 years ago. He lived most of his life in St. Joseph, Missouri. Dean has been customizing cars and trucks for 30 years. In the late 80's and early 90's, he was customizing 4x4 trucks. His vehicles have been featured in 6 national magazines. In 1987, he graced the cover of Four Wheeler Magazine for their 25th Anniversary Issue. From the late 90's until today, Dean has been customizing Corvettes. His 2000 Corvette in the photo is his 12th Vette to date. Dean used to compete in both ISCA Car Shows and the World of Wheels Shows.
